Erin Thorn, Girls Director, Nevada & Utah
Erin comes to the Premier program with a wealth of experience both as a player and a coach. Playing her college ball at Brigham Young University, Erin was a college All-American and led the program to its first ever NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2002. At the completion of her college career, Erin held the NCAA record for most three-pointers made in her career.
In 2003, Erin was drafted by the New York Liberty where she made her mark as a high IQ, versatile, sharp-shooting guard. Her playing career spanned ten seasons (six in New York, three in Chicago, and one in Minnesota). Erin also played several years overseas and participated in both the EuroLeague and the EuroCup. While still playing in the WNBA, Erin also spent two seasons back at BYU as the Director of Basketball Operations.
Since retiring from her playing career, Erin has spent the past eight years as a youth basketball coach. She began coaching both boys and girls at Vegas Elite Basketball Club before she rebranded the girls portion as its own non-profit organization. After joining forces with Co-Director Julius Barren, Erin helped grow the Most Outstanding Ballers (M.O.B.) program into one of the top programs in the west.
Coaching is Erin’s way to Pay It Forward to the game of basketball, helping the young ladies in the program grow both as young female athletes on the court and positive members of our community off the court.
